Tag A Bag Accessory Kit

The Tag A Bag Accessory Kit on pg 201 is on the retiring list and best of all, it is at 50% discount! It is designed to co-ordinate with our Tag A Bag Boxes and Bags (the latter also have the 50% off price tag), with 10 large base tags, 10 medium builder tags, 5 Coastal Cabana self adhesive strips, 10 mini binder clips, 18.3m Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine, and 40 Stampin' Dimensionals (those raised hexagon double sided adhesive). All that, now for only NZ$8.48 (+5% shipping) - what a bargain!!!! Of course, it need not be used only as tags! I was inspired by Artisan Design Team member Krista Frattin who showed us how easily these tags can be used to make quick amazing hand made cards. Here are my versions: Oops, there are only eight, because two have already been given away.  The additional things I used were left over embellishments I have from various other projects, Whisper White card stock and various embossing folders (there are 9

Retiring List 2015

21 April–2 June 2, 2015 (or while supplies last) We’re saying goodbye to retiring products from the 2014–2015 annual catalogue, but before we do, we’re giving everyone an opportunity to order their favourites with discounts up to 50 percent off retail. Retiring products will only be available until 2 June, or while supplies last. We're also including the My Digital Studio list, with all products discounted 30 percent off retail. * Note:   Why are these products retiring on 2 June? Since all catalogue launches will now be aligned globally, the current 2014–2015 annual catalogue will end when the new annual catalogue launches on 2 June 2015, rather than its original end date of 30 June 2015. This includes retiring product within the catalogues, as well as the print catalogues themselves. Shop retiring products Download PDF list of Retiring products

More Painted Petals Double Display Cards

Ana's card I know, I know, this is the third post on these Double Display Cards , however, my class attendees did such a wonderful job and they all look so different, I just have to share! Julie's Card Rachel's card There was one more, but I am missing photo of Pili's card! So there you go, one design, same set of patterned paper used, but such amazing difference with a change of colours. I love that everyone left the Friday's class with very different looking cards :-) Looking forward to Tuesday's class to see end result which will be more variants of this same card.

Double Display Card with Painted Petals #2

Just wanna showcase the cards made by attendees to my Friday class last Friday :-) This one here is on the ever classic Cherry Cobbler. And this is Sandra, the creator of the featured card for today's blog post :-) What you wouldn't have guessed is that this was her first time stamping and her first experience with Stampin' Up! products!  And now the good news is that I am repeating this class on Tuesday so I'd love you to come join us: Thanks so much for stopping - I hope you are inspired one way or another :-)

Painted Petals Double Display Card

This was the card that we made at my Friday Stamp and Connect Night class. Just in time for Mother's Day on 10th May. As you can see, though, this card doesn't have to read "Happy Mother's Day". Mother's Day celebration is a good opportunity to send a card to someone who has been a significant person in our lives. Or perhaps send a card of encouragement to a friend who is a Mum. I reckon all Mums could do with some form of encouragement and words of affirmation. I certainly do, anyway! Now this Double Display Card is a fancy fold card. This is what you get when you open up the card, after removing the butterfly clipped belly band: Seriously, who would not be wowed to receive such a card? I'd feel so special if I got this card! So if you miss my Friday class, I am repeating this on Tuesday 21st April 7.30pm at Te Atatu Peninsula, so let me know if you would like to RSVP for the class. Instructions to score and cut the base is from here htt

DIY Candy Jars

Amazing fun was had by all who attended my Mum & Me class yesterday! This project was introduced to the Creative Inkers Demonstrators Team at our recent Stamp Camp in February by Juliette Riddell. For the class, I got all the supplies (terracotta pots/saucers, rounded fishbowl like glass jars and plastic door knobs, paint and appropriate adhesive) from various stores and then painted them all in white so that the Mums and Children have a neutral base to work with. TIP: if you are doing this, may I suggest you use spray paint - it was a lot easier and so much quicker to dry. I learnt the hard way as I painted it with brush and paint! I did use the spray paint for the last coat, that's how I  know what difference it made ;-) I love watching everyone design their own embellishments, the colour choices each made, and from the children, I learnt what quick decision makers they are! Unlike some of us adults, the children don't deliberate too long at all - they

Easter Card with Hearts Collection Framelits

What's a gal to do when she goes to make Easter Cards and realises she doesn't actually have any Easter stamps? Oh to be sure, I have sentiment stamps that says "Happy Easter" but I don't have any egg or chickadees or cross image stamps! Have you ever thought how the designer of a card came up with the idea of her/his card? Well, here you go...you're about to hear a commentary of my thought process in creating this card :-) In an attempt to think outside the box, I began to consider what Easter means to me, and what is it I wish for my Easter cards to do for the recipients? The phrase, and song , "Unstoppable Love" keeps popping up in my mind. As I contemplate the phrase, the more I felt it truly does sum up for me what Easter means. It is the complete demonstration of God's unstoppable love for us - a love which did not stop when Jesus died on the cross, for He resurrected, and with His resurrection, this love continues to work inside
