Baby Tees In Retro Fresh

I love the fun contemporary retro colour combination in the Retro Fresh Suite, so I decided to team that up with the Baby Tees Stampin' Wheel (#118621) to make this Baby card. This wheel is now in the Retiring List, so email me your order peppertime123@gmail.com (or purchase through my website). Retiring products can sell out very fast, so hopefully, you manage to nab a bargain or two before it's gone forever! I have a confession - I am not very good at using these wheels. It seems I can't wheel in straight lines. Thankfully, I found out quite early on how easy it is to convert it into a clear mount stamp by dismounting the rubber from the wheel and adhering it to the Clear-Mount Cling Foam (#124236). The other advantage is, I can actually cut this stamp up now to make 5 stamps of little baby tees. I used Blender Pens (#102845) to pick up the colours from the ink pad to colour the images in. (There is actually an easier way to get colours on these onesies, ...

No Cut Lidded Box

It's my friend Carrie's birthday and since we haven't got a car at the moment, I haven't been able to go shopping for a present. So what do you do the night before? Well, you make a handmade gift! My inspiration came from SU! Demo Tania Bell who had shared in July a  video tutorial  on how to make a lidded box from a single 12" x 12" sheet without cutting.  Problem was, there was no instructions for the smaller boxes so imagine the mental gymnastics that I was doing late at night (as I got too engrossed in watching Iron Man 3 to multi-task as I originally planned, so I got to working on these close to midnight, lol).  I am quite proud of myself, so these measurements are available at the bottom of this post, for your convenience :-) The smallest box in this set had room for only one Ferrero Chocolate. I managed to squeeze in 2 treat size of Picnic bars in the middle box, and the largest box is good for 3" x 3" cards (I made a set of 6 card...

CASE Study #146 - 2012-13 In-Colours

It's Master JP's birthday in 2 days' time so I thought I'll try and make him a card based on this week's CASE Study Challenge. My initial idea didn't actually come together. I wonder if there are many entries like mine, where the initial idea met a few bumps along the way so that the end result wasn't really what you first had in mind at all! I have used one of the Epic Day This and That Designer Washi Tape from Stampin Up, this time I adhered to the Summer Starfruit card stock because I thought it will bring about some cohesiveness to the colour choices on the card. I had originally intended to only use the 2012-13 In Colours, which I did almost succeed, except in the end I had to bring in the Sycamore St DSP, and the washi tape. Oh, and the black embossed sentiment. The sentiment did not raise, however, like it's supposed to when you emboss, so I can only conclude that either I have a faulty emboss powder, or it is old and that's wh...
