Gorgeous Grunge Christmas

Seriously? Yes, it's a Christmas Tree and therefore a Christmas card. The Gorgeous Grunge set is one very versatile set that I think I will get a lot of use out of. If you are a new reader of my blog, first welcome and yay, thanks for visiting, and I hope you will become my "follower" or like my Facebook Page :-) Secondly, check out the versatility of this stamp set through the various cards I have made with it. On the right hand side you can scroll down to select "Stamp: Gorgeous Grunge" and that will filter out the posts that I have written show casing this stamp set. From Grunge to Play School , from Feminine to Christmas (today's feature). Have fun with this set! If you don't have it, you can click here to purchase it through my online store or email me your order at peppertime123@gmail.com

Feminine Gorgeous Grunge

This was the third card in my Friday's Craft Night' Gorgeous Grunge Feature. Would you have thought to create something like this with a stamp set called Grunge? Ha, I didn't...so lest you thought I came up with this design... I CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) it from Sam Donald of Pootles Papercraft fame. I love how she pulled together the Grunge and the Petite Petals together...her card was perfect as it was, so why re-invent the wheel, right? Judging by the popularity of this card at my July's Friday night, it seems everyone agrees :-) There is one minor point of difference - I used Chunky Glass Glitter for the centre of the flowers instead of rhinestones. Just because I have them and I really wanted to use them. I also didn't have Sahara Sand card stock to co-ordinate with the Sahara Sand ink splatters, but I think we got away with the Crumb Cake card stock. I have seen the twine thread trend lately in the card making world, and it really does add interes...

Gorgeous Grunge Playschool

This is the Play school way of using this very versatile stamp set.  Like the super grunge card, I have used the new, 2014-16, In-Colours. The top row is the first generation of the ink. Instead of re-inking I stamped off the second row and then again the third row. Look at that, if you thought these colours were too regal for you, then all you need to do is stamp off. The more pastel shade might be more suited to you? Originally I just wanted the splatters. However, I had turned over the Whisper White layer to re-use but the mistake on the underside was showing through, so I had to "mask" it with the lines stamp from the same set. I guess it gives the play school a grunge flavour :-) Gorgeous Grunge Clear Stamp Set $41.95 Gorgeous Grunge Wood Stamp Set $51.95 Basic Black A4 Card Stock $14.50 Whisper White A4 Card Stock $17.95 Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin' Pad $11.95 Hello Honey Classic Stampin' Pad $11.95 ...

Gorgeous Grunge - Grunge 21st

This is one of the Gorgeous Grunge cards I made for this month's Friday Night Stampin' Session. I said on my Facebook business page that we are doing a product feature on Gorgeous Grunge, and asked my FB viewers if they can imagine the possibilities of this stamp set from Grunge style (as expected) to the feminine, christmas to the play school? Can you? I have used all five of the new In-Colours, which I mentioned in my previous post . And can you spot one other new product from this year's catalogue that I have used? It is the Alphabet Rotary stamp, which I used to stamp the "Happy Birthday" sentiment repeatedly on the circle behind the "21". Now, I am excited to see if anyone coming to Friday Night's Stampin' Session will choose this card style, and if so, their interpretation of this card. It could be popular because it is masculine, and most of us struggle with making masculine cards, so this would be perfect to add to the rea...

Butterfly Bundle in 2013-14 In Colours

A good friend and customer suggested awhile ago that I make a card with the 2013-14 In Colours so that it would be handy to give to customers to see what these colours look like in card stock, not just from the catalogue pages. Time passes, there's always a growing list of things to do...you know how it goes... Then one day, since a lot of stamping tools were already out, and I remember a card I saw in the  blogworld that fellow SU! demo Emily Campbell had made, I set to work to cross this off the list. Well, I got one card made, so now I just have to make a bunch of these to give to customers.  Thanks for stopping by today. Bless you heaps. Now if you haven't already seen it on my Promotions page, this month Stampin' Up! has a special Butterfly Bundle offer that I'd like to bring your attention to:
