Tasteful Touches To An Incredible Woman

I was inspired to make a card with a backdrop of three panels (thank you Cindy Schuster @thecraftycarrotco). Since I was working with white, I decided it is a good time to experiment with colours. Fresh Freesia, Sahara Sand and Granny Apple Green - what do you think?

-Michelle's Top Tips Today:

1: Do not be afraid of doing white on white. You can always emboss to create interest and texture. Here I have used the Greenery Mini Emboss Folders

2: Build your focal motif by grouping different elements together. The flower, feather and greenery were all from the stamp set Tasteful Touches.

3: Popping a bit of yellow of some kind can make a card pop. That strip of yellow pattern paper was from the "discarded" stash - do you have one of those on your stamping desk too?

4: I think I always love the look of white embossed sentiment on a black card. I just think it goes with everything! The sentiment is from Hydrangea Haven.

5: Don't overthink it! Since taking the photo for this card, I have repositioned things (you know, it's gotta be placed at just the right angle, hahaha!) and have added the gilded gold gems. I can't take an updated photo as I have already gifted this card.

Thank you for visiting today. As always, if you have any questions, I am happy to help you.

Until next post, have fun stamping!
