I think especially too for the wannabe gardeners like me - you can  get all the benefits of gardening with none of the drawbacks—no weeding or watering required. LOL. Today, I want to just focus on the Designer Series Paper (DSP) in this suite. These are 12"x12" paper, with two sheets of each double sided patterned paper.   You can see all 12 designs here but of course it is always better in person.    If a whole 12" x 12" paper is overwhelming, then chop it down to a smaller size. This looks familiar!   Yes, this is the same card as the one I previously shared here , but made in alternative colours. My colour inspiration came from the colours that were in the retired Let It Snow Designer Series Paper.   Yes, it is a Christmas card!     Click here for the list of supplies for this card     I know, it's only August, but how often have we found ourselves caught out because before we know it, we have missed the deadline to post Christmas cards overseas and then comes Christmas Day we lament we never got round to sending Christmas cards. Today's share is a duo of cards made from one floral die cut from the Artistic Dies     I placed the Basic White Floral diecut from my previous project on to a piece of Basic White. Holding it in place with my fingers, I used blending brushes to blend the colours of Colour INKspiration Challenge #101 (see chart below) onto the floral diecut, being careful not to move the diecut itself.   When it was done, I have a beautiful floral arrangement which I then simply adhered to a piece of Evening Evergreen. I mounted this on top of an Evening Evergreen card base already embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. A generous splash of Wink of Stella gave the card shimmer - and almost a galaxy space look. The sentiment is one of my favourites ever - and is from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set. Now when you lift the diecut off the Basic White, you'll see the floral detail in white. I sponged on the rest of the card in Balmy Blue, taking care not to put colour on the wh...

Click here for supplies list I have kept this card very very simple because I felt anything more would take away the stunningness of the floral die cut from the Artistic Dies. I didn't even use twine (which you will have noticed features in almost every card I make, even more than rhinestones!). I cut out the intricate floral twice - one in Gold Foil, and another in Basic White. The latter, I saved to use as a stencil on another project (Spoiler alert: that will be my next blogpost). What I wanted was the negative part, which I sponged Balmy Blue on with the blending brush. I then adhere this piece on top of a similar size of Pale Papaya (doesn't have to be exact size, just as long as it is big enough to cover the "hole" or the negative. Then I apply Multipurpose Glue lightly on the gold foil floral die cut, and adhered it inlaid into the negative of the now Balmy Blue piece. Adhere on the Soft Succulent card base, pop o...
