Here is the first card I shared in my Beautiful Balloons Class To Go today - you can watch the replay over on my YouTube channel.
Shannon West from Stampin' Up!'s Home Office shared this fun fold card with us back in April. Now, if you use pretty paper to decorate this funfold card, and you use the trick Shannon showed us to cut the paper at the right angle, then there will be a small amount of triangle off cuts. It's no biggie, as we can always find a way to use those scraps. Being up for a challenge though, I decided I must be able to find a way to not have those triangle offcuts! And the answer is quite simply to do what we do to cut the card base. My video is long today, but that's because I took the time to demonstrate how to cut the card base and the pretty papers/layers. I hope you find it helpful too.
I cannot help it - not only is this a fun fold card...I wanted to make it a shaker card too!
My cards are also of a different size than Shannon's card. Well, actually, mine is still half of an A4 sheet. But just by marking at the 2" mark instead of the 3" mark, my cards are taller and slightly less wide. I'm happy to say that my taller cards still fit in our standard C6 envelopes - phew!
