How versatile is this card?
Woo-hoo! It's your birthday!
Woo-hoo! You did it!
Woo-hoo! You are engaged!
Woo-hoo! Congratulations!
Woo-hoo! You have a new baby!
I love cards like this - you can have them on hand, then when the time comes, just put the right sentiment on it and away you go.
This card also shows ways to use up scraps of pretty paper using the Owl Builder punch (#118074) and the Banner punch (which was a SAB offering but if you missed out then, you'll be delighted to know it is in the new catalogue therefore available for sale from 1 July in the South Pacific). Even the strip of Pool Party was a scrap that I had saved up from previous projects. I stamped the "Happy" using the Alphabet Rotary stamp (another sneak peek from the new catalogue!)
Add a matching bookmark to take this card to the next level of cuteness and make it truly a "one-of-a-kind" card.
I am entering this in the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 318
Not exacting the sketch, but I think it stays quite true to the sketch. Hopefully they think so too :-)
Now to dress the card in a more simple way - using ribbon!
I will enter this one in this week's CAS-ology Cue Card Challenge: Anniversary
That velvet Very Vanilla ribbon is just so beautiful and lend itself to a wedding or anniversary theme, I reckon.
And now to showcase what was made at the June's Mum & Me Class:
See the tree branch and leaves peeking out on the left? Juliet's boy Ezra (7) was inspired to make a tree with the Woodgrain Embossing folder (#127821) used in these cards.
Thanks for stopping by, it's much appreciated. I invite you to come along to my monthly classes or book a workshop - that way you can become active participant in these fun creative times :-) Click here to find out more.
Happy Stampin'!
