Today's project was inspired by a sentiment that is in the No Matter The Weather Card Kit/Stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Card Kits come in this wonderful sturdy and compact box that can be repurposed for so many things once you have used all the consumable supplies in it. Now the "Wishing You Brighter Days Ahead" sentiment inspired the idea to make up a "care package" for someone who is under the weather. I made a very simple label to put on the outside of the box but of course, you can decorate it much more than that. I learned from spotting one of Rachel Tessman's cards to use the stamp with the dash image to make corner stamps. So clever!
What would you include in a Care Package? The contents will be dependent on the purpose - here I was thinking of someone sick with the flu. With the help of my team of sidelines (demonstrators), we came up with the following ideas - all of which I was able to find in my home!
Ok, I snuck some chocolates in - probably not a good idea to eat when one is fighting a virus! So other than the chocolates, this makes a neat little Flu Care Package, don't you think?

Stampin' Up! Card Kits are an easy entry point for beginner stampers because the kit includes everything you need (except a pair of scissors) to make the cards shown in the kit. It is also great for seasoned Stampers who is well stocked with supplies because sometimes it is nice to be able to "whip up" some cards quickly. It is compact for when travelling, and just like you might pack a good book to read, you can just grab a kit to have everything you need, all in a small box. In the No Matter The Weather Card Kit, a stamp set is included too, so you can certainly make more cards after you have completed the kit (which makes 9 cards).
