A Trio of Bumblebee In Colour Cards

Bumblebee is the name of one of the 5 new In Colours in our 2020-21 Annual Catalogue.   Michelle's Top Tip Today: When a large area of your card is to be covered up, consider cutting out that area with shaped dies or punches, to be used either on the inside of the card, or envelope or in another card.  All these three cards are linked by the circle diecuts. When I made the first card, Country Home Hello Card, I had cut out a circle from the Bumblebee Stitched Lace Die background with one of the dies from Layering Circles dies. This I used in the card below.  This card is a variation of the sketch I used for the Country Home Hello card .  Here, I have used the happy and cheerful sunflower card from the Flowers For Every Season Memories and More Card Pack, and also featured the Bumblebee gingham ribbon. I have heat embossed the sentiment in White as I wanted to keep this card Monochromatic. You can find the list of all the items used in this card here . Now, of course...

Country Home Hello Card

Oh, Country Home goodness! Did you know that constraints can make you more creative? Sometimes, when we have so much available to us, it is hard to know where to start! That is why I love participating in card challenges. Today's project came about as I worked through the confines of not one but two card challenges. First, a sketch challenge, from #stampinfancyfriday   Next, a colour challenge from Colour INKspiration challenge #CI83 See, now all I have to decide is the images (stamp sets/dies/sentiments). Well, that is enough things to decide on, I say! You can see all the supplies I used here (including all the basic items such as adhesives) -  https://s.tamp.in/7WO4eW Michelle's Top Tip Today:  So, I decided to jazz up the milk jug a bit. I didn't have any ornate stamp...until I remember the one from Still Scenes. So I heat embossed that image in silver then stamp the milk jug over it (it's photopolymer so I can clearly see through for placement).  Your Turn: Will...

Blossoms in Bloom Split Card Technique

Why make one card when you can make two?       The large floral image from the Blossoms in Bloom lends itself very well to what is known as the Split Card Technique. (Shown below are the coordinating dies, Many Layered Blossoms, for this stamp set. Get both the stamps and the dies as a Bundle and save 10% - woohoo!) You can see all the supplies I used here (including all the basic items such as adhesives).        Split Card technique: Take two Whisper White pieces (I have cut mine at 9.7cm x 14cm) and place them side by side. Stamp the floral image (I have used Misty Moonlight) across both Whisper White pieces. That's it - one image split across both pieces! Oh, and I used Bumblebee yellow to colour in the centre of the flowers.       There are two coordinating die cuts for this floral image. I have used the thin outline,  cut out in Smoky Slate, carefully applying glue all over it then adhere to the floral image. Then carefully use...

Peony Garden Suite Pocket Card

Let's celebrate Beautiful You This pocket card is simply a CASE of the World Of Good Suite Pocket Card that was taught at the July's Auckland Extravaganza ( you can see it here ). Only this time, I used quite a few products from the Peony Garden Suite. The Beautiful You sentiment were made from a couple of sentiments in the Beautiful World stamp set. The card inside the pocket with the saying from Timeless Tulips pairs well with the Beautiful You declaration on the front of the "pocket sleeve". I love this fun Pocket card design! With the array of Stampin' Up! beautiful bundles and papers, you can recreate this Pocket card easily. Please do try it and share with me your creation! World of Good Suite Pocket Card

This was one of 5 projects that was taught at the July's Auckland Extravaganza. The insert card is a simple fancy fold (3 panel card) - I absolutely love this fun project design taught by Jacque Williams and Helen Wigham! You could also use the outer pouch or pocket as a treat wrap. A 4-finger packet of Kit Kat fits inside it perfectly. You can see all the supplies I used here (including all the basic items such as adhesives). Until next post, have fun stamping! *** Bonus Days - Earn in July, Spend in August. Prized Peony CAS (Clean and Simple)

I like to have table gifts for my customers who attend Extravaganza. These paper bags are handy but are a little too plain. For my customers who attended the July's Extravaganza, I decorated these bags very simply with the Peony Dies set. The idea was that they could easily remove the feature card from the bag to make their own card such as the one shown below! Rainbow Glimmer and A Little Lace

You can see all the supplies that I used here . Let the new Stampin' Up!® Rainbow Glimmer Paper shine with these notecards. Doesn't it pair well with the floral cluster from A Little Lace stamp set? The Red/Orange/Yellow... The Green and Blues... And the Purples... With or without border - I can't decide! This is the video I watched that inspired me to cut the paper in this way. I love how this enabled me to get 32 pieces out of one pack of Rainbow Glimmer Paper (2 sheets of 12x12) - it really does stretch that one pack of Glimmer paper and still let the paper shine!
