How about a stunning Black and White home decor piece of Stamped Art!
Truth: I had a couple of basic black cards in my #scrapoffthedesk pile for many many years. The Scripture verse from the retired Rose Wonder stamp set was heat embossed in white on the black cards but they were imperfect...yet I couldn't bring myself to throw them out. I have learned to embrace the imperfections over the years, and I actually feel like it looks ok now - it looks grunge. So let's just say I have now used these cards because it was the look I was going for!
I stamped the tree image from the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set with Versamark ink and embossed with White Embossing Powder. Layer the card on to a Basic White piece and then pop onto a 8x8 piece of Basic Black. Yes, I purchased the Charcoal frame just for this project. I was thinking how amazing that I could just pop into a retail shop and pick up exactly what I wanted - just like that. After many days of region wide lockdown (everyone knows what I am talking about, right?), this is something I can count as a blessing, for sure.
Remember I mentioned there were two black cards? I did the same, heat embossed the tree image in white then simply mount that on a Basic White Card base. It is not often I keep a card as plain as this - no bling and no twine!
