In my last post, I shared a video tutorial on how to make a Quintuple Pocket Card. I used this beautiful Cinnamon Cider sheet from the Heart and Home Designer Series Paper pack for the demonstration. In the video I said I would embellish it off camera - this is so I can keep the video at a reasonable length of time. Here is the finished result:
I used Meadow Dies to cut out some "weeds" in Pale Papaya and Basic White. I coloured the stem with Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker. The Basic White Label is from the Tasteful Label Dies and I had sponged on a bit of Pale Papaya. The strip of vellum is embossed with the Dotty Hearts embossing folder. Those cute little tags are also cut from the Meadow Dies. The word "Hope" is part of a sentiment in the Love of Leaves stamp set.
I have a friend in mind when I made this and knew I wanted to fill it with Heart and Home Memories and More cards (as I suggested on the video). My friend hasn't been well so I wanted to write her some Scripture cards for encouragement. We are both part of a community who encourage and inspire one another to write Scripture as part of our daily routine, so I know she would "get" this. Look at all these that I was able to fill inside the pocket card!
Now I just discovered that there is a card theme called "Loaded Envelope". It is this week's challenge over at TGIF Challenges. So I have submitted this project as an entry to the challenge.
I hope you will join me and do the challenge too. It is so much fun and who wouldn't love to receive a happy mail like this right? Go on, make one and bring "a hug in a card" to someone today xx
