Here is the first card I shared in my Textured Floral Class To Go today - you can watch the replay over on my YouTube channel.
I love this colour combo and Ellen Woodbridge card so much that after spotting it on Pinterest, I went to my stamp desk to recreate the card, based on the picture. It wasn't until I have finished copying the card that I saw that Ellen had made a video showing how she created this card in real time with her FB live audience (that's brave!) I got a few things "wrong" - such as the buds on the top left were Crushed Curry, but I had used Pecan Pie in mine. I also thought she had gold embossed the splatters, which she didn't. These were the two major changes that I didn't intentionally make. Now, I wasn't sure about matting the card front on a white card base, so I intentionally change it to a Lemon Lolly card base. But, as you will see in the video, I had stamped two card fronts at the same time, so for the second card, I decided to use a white card base, but I angled the Daffodil Delight mat. One the video I filmed, I used a white card base without angling the Daffodil Delight mat. So now you can see all three versions at a glance!
