This week's product highlight is the Trucking Along Bundle of stamp set and Punch. Today's card uses three different colouring techniques.
Here in Auckland, it's traffic city, so this scene came to mind, even though it is a truck stamp rather than a car stamp. Anyhow, I do like the trucks in a row like that, especially in these bright and cheerful colours. The three colouring techniques I have used are:
1) Two Step Stamping: Since the Trucking Along stamp set is a Two-Step Stamping stamp set, I stamped the solid stamp of the body of the truck stamp in the variety of colours.
2) Watercolouring: I coloured in the background with watercolour pencils then used the water painters to create a watercolouring look.
3) Stampin' Blends: instead of using two-step stamping for the wheels of the truck, I used Basic Black Stampin' Blends to colour in the wheels and also the little bit of steering wheel peeking through.
