Tasteful Touches in Calypso Coral for Monochromatic Monday

I've been getting the most out of the retiring Tasteful Touches stamp set!   Click here for the Supplies List   I have chosen Calypso Coral as the colour to feature in my Monochromatic Monday Card this week. As you can see, however, this card is totally replicable in any of your favourite colour!  Someone commented in one of my social media posts recently that Sympathy cards are not easy to find. I was thinking about that so I reached out for the Inspired Thoughts stamp set for this sentiment. I embossed it in white on Basic Black card stock then cut it up, so that the rest of the sentiment is on the inside of the card:   Why Monochromatic Monday? Did you know Stampin' Up! offers at least 50 colours for all your creative work? All with coordinating card stock, ink pads and markers, and some/most with Stampin' Blends, ribbons and embellishments. Take a look at the range of colours!   In 2022, my personal challenge is to feature one colour each week on Monochromatic Monday

Easy Shaker Card with Pierced Blooms Dies

When the theme for the card challenge is flowers...   Click here for supplies list   I couldn't not use one of my favourite retiring products - the Pierced Blooms Dies . How can you not love these dies? There are 25 dies of flowers and leaves of varying shapes, a stinking cute bow, and a label - and until 2 May or while supplies last, it has been reduced to a sale price of only $46.80 NZD.   Do you know how to make a easy shaker card? All you need is a cello bag! The white panel and the itty bitty flowers were put inside a cello bag, sealed then adhered onto the Basic Black card base. Easy as 1-2-3! I made this birthday card to submit in two challenges. The theme at Global Design Project this week is Flowers. There is no lack of inspiration for this classic theme!   And the beautiful colour combination came from Colour INKspiration #CI119  Oh, this card makes me so happy - I am so excited about sending it. Now. who's birthday is next?   Oh, by the way, Stampin' Up! sprung

Just Jade for Monochromatic Monday Card

It's a fun card today that is not hard to do but it is loaded with a few supplies! Click here for supplies list   It's a pretty classic layout - easy to replicate for sure. Change up the colours and the feature different pattern papers and you will have a bunch of fun cards in no time!  I have used the Just Jade bokeh paper out of the Abstract Beauty 4"x 6" DSP pack , cut in half. With the Heart Punch Pack , punch out the scalloped heart from the middle of the pattern paper. Set aside to use on the inside of the card, the envelope or use it on another card! Adhere this pattern paper on dimensionals on the Just Jade card stock. Punch out the non scalloped heart from Basic White card stock, then stamp the "hello" sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set in Just Jade ink. Adhere this heart in the middle of the scalloped heart. I used the Thanks and Hello embossing folder, and the flowers are die cut from the retiring Pierced Blooms Dies . Finally, add some R

Easy Treat Pouches from 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper

One of the first things that I was attracted to Stampin' Up! about was gift packaging!     I just love the idea of turning beautiful papers into gift packages. These little treat pouches require minimum supplies and come together only in minutes! Enjoy the short imperfect video I made - imperfect as you will see my mistake with directional pattern paper, but hey, my mistake means you can learn what not to do, so yours will be perfect :-) Until next post, have fun stamping! *** For current specials, click this link https://michellepepper.stampinup.net/special *** Shop online with me today and use the current April Hostcode YKGGYNEJ or contact me to place an order. Beautiful Moments in Crumb Cake for Monochromatic Monday

Trying out a new-to-me technique - the Retiform Technique. The Beautiful Moments stamp set just oozes nostalgia to me so I thought it would be a good set to use with this technique in my chosen colour to focus on today's Monochromatic Monday card. It's Crumb Cake so yeah, I'm going for the the sepia look.    Have you tried this Retiform technique? Let me know if you want to do this in class.   Why Monochromatic Monday? Artfully Layered Sending all the Hugs

When art imitates life...   Click here for the Supplies List   When I looked at this large leaf image from the Artfully Layered stamp set it immediately reminds me of the pot plant in the little corner of my living room.       When a new leaf is unfurling, it is a much lighter shade of green hence I decided to use two shades of Greens for my card... Thank you for popping by today. As always, if you have any questions, I am happy to help you. Dressed To Impress in Purple Hues for Monochromatic Monday

Today's Monochromatic Monday card is in gorgeous shades of Purples.     My intention was to highlight Gorgeous Grape colour today, but as I was making the card, I realised we do not actually have Gorgeous Grape Stampin' Blends. So instead I coloured in the flowers, the lipstick and the shoe with Highland Heather Stampin' Blends . The shoe and lipstick appear lighter because I have applied some Shimmery Crystal Effects to give them some sparkle and shine!   Shop with me here       The Shimmery Crystal Effects is on the retiring list (and therefore is while supplies last only). There is nothing like this in the new catalogue, so I highly recommend you to have this in your crafting toolbox. It really is the little details, like shine and shimmer, that can take a card to a wow level. The other thing I want to highlight with this card is the fun fold. Our beautiful pattern papers always come double sided and sometimes it seems unfortunate to have to hide one side! This fun fo
