Timeless Tropical and Blossoms in Bloom

A Maui Sunset!   Create a gorgeous sunset/sunrise background with Stampin’ Up! 2021-2023 In Colors Collection Click here for the supplies list While some demonstrators who achieved Incentive Trip to Maui is currently enjoying their success in style, the next best thing for those of us who didn't achieve it is to create an experience - right? Hahaha.  Stamps: Timeless Tropical, Blossoms in Bloom Techniques: Alcohol Background Blending, Heat Embossing I was a little stuck in my design after doing the background and heat embossing the palm trees. Then Cathy Pinchbeck made a card for #CI99 challenge which provided the solution for me to CASE using the gold hoop (retired). I'm so happy with the way the card turned out.   Until next post, have fun stamping! *** For current specials, click this link https://michellepepper.stampinup.net/special hop online with me today or contact me to place an order.

Timeless Tropical #CI98

Fabulously Retro! -I'm on a roll, participating in Colour INKspiration Challenge for the third consecutive time! I love participating in Challenges because it gives me a starting point to work with without me having to think haha.  So, pinks and greens make me think of florals (as the picture above) but it also speaks of retro to me (pink and green neon signs, anyone?) and pink and green highlighters!!!! But in card making, well, I do gravitate to floral stamp sets, so this time I challenged myself to make a non floral card. How's that, a challenge within a challenge! The pineapples from Timeless Tropical stamp set are stamped and embossed in gold and the sentiment is from the retired Many Mates stamp set - I just love that sentiment, and the font style suits this card perfectly.   This card is very CASE-able (Copy and Selectively Edit) so I hope you are inspired! It is also a great way to use up slivers of card stock you have from other projects. Try different colour combinat

A WOW card that is EASY

Today's card is a teaser... I usually only post projects I have made using current products because I know I would be so disappointed to see something only to be told actually I can't purchase it because it has retired ie no longer available for sale. This card uses retired Designer Series Paper, a retired punch and retired ribbon. Good news is that if you recognise them and have it, maybe you'll be inspired! If you love this and feeling just a bit disappointed now, well, I do sincerely apologise...good news is that I am working on adapting this card with the many fabulous products in our new Annual 2021-2022 Catalogue. So watch this space! Now are you ready for the WOW of this card? On the outside, it looked a regular card. But look what happens when you open it...   Incidentally, this shows part of my creative process. I recently discovered this fancy fold and so set out to work it out myself. Whenever I test things out, I usually test it with retiring or retired products
