Stampin' Up! Grassy Grove Dies Thinking of You Card

This week our product highlight of the week: Grassy Grove Cling stamp set as well as coordinating Grove Dies .   Click here for the Supplies List for this card  This card was quick to do because half of it was already made when I made the card I shared yesterday .    So under this Pumpkin Pie card stock is a piece of Basic White. When I coloured this Pumpkin Pie card stock with using the blending brush I was effectively masking. So when I lifted the Pumpkin Pie card stock, the white card stock underneath revealed, with a wonderful scene with white trees.  This I used for the card front of today's card.   Introducing the Grassy Grove stamp set and coordinating products     Grassy Grove Cling Stamp Set   Grove Dies       Be sure to check back daily this week for more projects using the Grassy Grove Stamp Set . Also, on Wednesday 28th June 10am, join me for my Weekly Class To Go featuring these products.    For NZ residents only: when you place a minimum order of $40 with me t

Stampin' Up! Grassy Grove CASE The Catalogue Card

Happy Monday, and as promised, here's my Catalogue CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) card using our product highlight of the week: Grassy Grove Cling stamp set as well as coordinating Grove Dies .   Click here for the Supplies List for this card     Let's take a look again at the card sample on page 85 in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue designed by Kaitlyn Zumbach.  In my CASE, I have retained most of Kaitlyn's design. The biggest thing I "edited" is the colour palette. I was attempting to do fall/autumn colours so I started out with cutting the woodland die from Grove Dies in Pumpkin Pie card stock. To add dimension to the plain Pumpkin Pie card stock, I blended with a concoction of colours (Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow) - however, I did one extra step hoping that I have something to use for another card.   I rolled some washi tape so it acts like double sided tape and then placed a Basic White card stock under the Pumpkin Pie card stock. When I

Stampin' Up! Bottled Happiness Love and Hugs Card

This is the second card I shared in my Bottled Happiness Class To Go this week - you can watch the replay over on my YouTube channel .  Click here for the Supplies List for this card   I love the colours on this card! Gorgeous Grape is not a colour I have used often but when I do, I just feel so much love for it. That jar, with a cork, in Flirty Flamingo, is a striking contrast with the purple and green floral spray. You can get two card kits for this card design free from me this week!     Free Offer : Four Make and Take kits (2 of each design) for this class when you place a minimum order of $40 with me this week by the end of Friday 23rd June and use my Hostcode UFU2Y3DF . Stampin' Up! Bottled Happiness Sending A Little Message Card

This is the first card I shared in my Bottled Happiness Class To Go today - you can watch the replay over on my YouTube channel .  Click here for the Supplies List for this card   Firstly, let me give credit where credit is due. The amazing Jacque Williams designed this card with green bottles a little while ago for one of the Auckland Extravaganzas last year.  I have loved the card but never got round to teaching it in my in-person classes. Now that the Evening Evergreen colour has retired, I decided to make a blue version of Jacque's card. Can you guess what blues did I use? Click here on the Supplies List to see if you guessed correctly! Also to note, the Rose Gold card stock pack comes in three different finishes - I used the iridescent rose gold in this card. If you don't like the torn look, just cut the Crumb Cake card stock with the trimmer instead of ripping it like I have.  While I love clean and simple cards, this card calls for a bit (or a lot!) of ink splatters

Stampin' Up! Bottled Happiness Overwhelming Happiness Card

With the product highlight of the week: Bottled Happiness photopolymer stamp set , I made this overwhelming happiness card. Click here for the Supplies List for this card   I looked beyond the awesome bottle images to let the floral images take centre-stage on my card.  I decided to emboss the white piece with the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder to add a bit more texture to the card.      By the way, this is my go-to sketch, which I first saw from Jennifer Frost. Designing to a sketch means I have one less thing to make decisions on. I still have to decide what colours to use, what background to use, etc. With this sketch brief, for example, I have the layout of the card already so then I just have to decide whether to stamp the floral images from Bottled Happiness on the background or on the circle die cut, and colours - what colours to use.  I did however, have to change where I put the label/sentiment. Can you guess why? Yes, it is where it is to hide some smudges.       Int

Stampin' Up! Bottled Happiness CASE The Catalogue Card

Happy Monday, and time for a Catalogue CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) using our product highlight of the week: Bottled Happiness photopolymer stamp set .   Click here for the Supplies List for this card   Let's take a look at the card again which I posted about yesterday:    Click here for the Supplies list for this card       What did I copy and what did I change? I used the same shape bottle from the stamp set but I didn't use the Vintage Bottle Shaker Dome , nor the Iridescent Shaker Circles . I copied the single strip of DSP idea, made the card bigger, and I changed the colour scheme. Do you like the colour scheme - it was from the Color Coach by Stampin' Up! Have you checked it out?    The beauty of CASEing - you can copy as much as you like or deviate as much as you like! The point is, the original card serves as a starting point for your card creation. Sometimes you want to copy exactly, and other times your card will look nothing like the original card you go
