Cup of Tea Bundle in Soft Sea Foam

It's Soft Sea Foam for Monochromatic Monday Card this week, starring the Cup Of Tea Bundle . Click here for supplies list   This card was inspired by Cindy Schuster in her tutorial for Crafty Carrot Collective. I cut out 6 teacup diecuts in Soft Sea Foam and adhered these on Soft Sea Foam card stock to create the tone on tone background. Some of the diecuts were intentionally adhered in a way that a part of it was overhanging the card base. Snip the excess off and adhere it to another part of the card, on the edges. I painted Wink of Stella all over the card - I just love the shimmer!   The Happy Birthday sentiment (from the Go To Greetings stamp set ) was heat embossed in White on Basic Black card stock. I used the label die from Meadow Dies for the sentiment. Tie on a bow using the gold trim from Simply Elegant Trim and pop a couple of the small flowers from Teacup Dies with a sparkly rhinestone jewel to finish off this sweet and simply divine card. Why Monochromatic Monday?

Tea Boutique Suite in Petal Pink for Monochromatic Monday

This is one for the tea drinkers.     Click here for supplies list   The Tea Boutique 6"x6" Designer Series Paper is filled with bright happy colours, but also has some sweet and lovely designs in monochromatic colours such as this Petal Pink background piece I have used on this card. The Cup of Tea stamp set comes with a variety of images such as teacups (of course!), a citrus wedge, flowers, hearts, tags, foliage and a bunch of sentiments in one of my favourite fonts - plus the Teacup Dies are so fun to use! I didn't have any doilies that are not retired, so instead I used the floral diecut from Artistic Dies .    Tip: Use Adhesive sheets to turn intricate diecuts into stickers - no messing around with glue!   Try: Mix up the embellishments! You don't have to use the same embellishments on the one card. Here I used three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels and two Polished Dots (currently discounted, and retiring at the end of June or while supplies last)   Wh
