Sending Smiles Bundle in Mango Melody for Monochromatic Monday

It's a fun and bright card for today's Monochromatic Monday card share.   Click here for the Supplies List     I was making a stack of birthday cards for the Children's Pastor in church so I used this Stack-Double Cut-Shuffle technique with the fun Sunshine and Rainbows Designer Series Paper (retired Sale-A-Bration freebie in January/February). I am planning on making a video to share how to use this technique. So watch this space...       Why Monochromatic Monday?   Did you know Stampin' Up! offers at least 50 colours for all your creative work? All with coordinating card stock, ink pads and markers, and some/most with Stampin' Blends, ribbons and embellishments. Take a look at the range of colours!     In 2022, my personal challenge is to feature one colour each week on Monochromatic Monday. I hope you will join me too, and use the #monochromaticmondaycard hashtag too.  As always, if you have any questions, I am happy to help you. Until next post, have fun stam

Scraps Off The Desk Fun for Monochromatic Monday Card

Let's hear it for Rich Razzleberry today! Confession: it's first day of Term 3 today and I was not organised...so the day went by and I didn't get to make a card today. Fortunately, my friend and I rummaged through my #scrapsoffthedesk last week and together, we put together 6 wonderful cards! This card, while not entirely one colour, leverages on the same colour hues, and so is perfect for a Monochromatic Monday card! Do you cut out extra pieces of images when you are crafting? Or do you go to use what you have stamped and then decide that actually you prefer it stamped in a different colour or paper? Do you keep the unused or "rejected" items, or do you declutter straightaway and trash what you don't use? I am the former, so I tend to have a scrap pile - all neatly stored in a box (or two, or three, hahaha!).  Have you made a card with #scrapsoffthedesk lately? Ever? Give it a go - I really love the creative process of doing so. As always, if you have any qu
