Building a Christmas Tree with sentiments is a tried and true card recipe. Here is my Monochromatic version in Cherry Cobbler.   Click here for Supplies List     The sentiments came from Celebrate with Tags (#159974) and Merriest Moments (#156353) and the gift box stamp is from Spruced Up (#159694) . Today's card is one for fans of yellow! Click here for the Supplies List Do you like doing a colour wash for the background of your cards? The thing I like about colour washing is the unpredictable nature. So, I watercoloured this side first, but turned it over to try again because I felt it was a bit too streaky. I felt I did better on the other side, until I experimented with dripping drops of reinker directly on the paper. No matter how much water I used, I had these blobs across the card. I must have saturated the card stock (which by the way is Shimmery White) quite a bit because when I turned it over, there were these watermarks on the left and on the right. I decided I quite like the effect, so I ended up using this side! The words, heat embossed in White, are from Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) .
