Stampin' Up! Spruced Up in Evening Evergreen for Monochromatic Monday Card

Happy Monday! This week I will be sharing cards made with Spruced Up bundle from Stampin' Up! Kicking it off today is this monochromatic card in Evening Evergreen. Click here for Supplies List What might not show up clearly is that the tree is cut out in white glimmer paper from the Real Red & White 6"x6" Glimmer Paper that is in the Mini Catalogue. Did you know we actually have glimmer papers in several colours? Search glimmer paper in my shop or click here to browse and shop. This was going to be a card using one stamp set bundle only, but I had a few of the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder/Dies (#159888) diecuts in the #scrapsoffthedesk pile calling out to be used :-)    Why Monochromatic Monday?   Did you know Stampin' Up! offers at least 50 colours for all your creative work? All with coordinating card stock, ink pads and markers, and some/most with Stampin' Blends, ribbons and embellishments. Take a look at the range of colours!     In 2022, my

This colour combination of Real Red, Old Olive, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla is a Christmas classic - I love it!   Click here for Supplies List     Below you can watch a replay of the video I shared this week that shows you how to make this and the vellum card I shared yesterday :   I love how with a simple tweak, we can turn a standard card into a gift card holder as well. DIY Card Kit with Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper

Here is my November DIY Kits, featuring the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper.   For more general information about the DIY Card Kits I offer, please click here.     Boughs of Holly is a beautiful set of papers. Biggest Wish in Crushed Curry for Monochromatic Monday Card

Today's card is one for fans of yellow! Click here for the Supplies List Do you like doing a colour wash for the background of your cards? The thing I like about colour washing is the unpredictable nature. So, I watercoloured this side first, but turned it over to try again because I felt it was a bit too streaky. I felt I did better on the other side, until I experimented with dripping drops of reinker directly on the paper. No matter how much water I used, I had these blobs across the card. I must have saturated the card stock (which by the way is Shimmery White) quite a bit because when I turned it over, there were these watermarks on the left and on the right. I decided I quite like the effect, so I ended up using this side! The words, heat embossed in White, are from Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) . The flecks of gold were achieved through flicking Wink of Stella in Gold which Stampin' Up! used to carry stock of.  Speaking of birthday cards, have you signed up to my Birt
