Blended Alcohol Background Technique with Many Messages Bundle

I have been INKspired again! Again, I couldn't stop at just one card, so here's a trio of Colour INKspiration Challenge #97 cards. Click here for the list of supplies So the inspiration is...   I love making backgrounds for cards, so I was thinking it is about time I tried the "Blended Alcohol Background" Technique. It really is quite simple. Just colour some random patches of different Stampin' Blends alcohol based markers on a piece of vellum card stock. Then the fun begins. Using an aquapainter, dip into a saucer of isopropyl alcohol (mine was 99% strength) and then brush on to your card stock with the colour patches. Watch the colours run! You can view it here - be warned though, it is unedited with my boys' voices in the background. https://www.facebook.com/stampwithmichelle/videos/488544008829333   As this was my first att...

Beautiful Moments Thinking Of You

The beautiful line-art images in this Beautiful Moments stamp set was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Jacque Williams - my very own Team Leader!   Click here for the supplies list CASE is an acronym known and used widely among card makers although there are variants of what the letters stand for. Some say it is Copy and Share Everything, others say it is Copy and Selectively Edit. In this case, I have Copy and Selectively Edited the beautiful card I saw on Pinterest by Cathy Proctor. Can you spot the difference between her original card and my CASE card? Hint: there are 4 differences! Stamp the image with Versamark Ink and then heat emboss with Black Emboss Powder on the Crumb Cake front piece. Colour using the chalk marker. If your chalk marker is on the dry side, like my well used one, just pick up the White Craft ink with your chalk marker and colour in the image. I have raised the sentiment piece (also heat embossed with Black Embossing powder) so the card has a bit of dimen...

I am looking forward to sending these cards to brighten up someone's day!     Click here for the supplies list   The florals are from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set (retiring soon on May 3rd or while supplies last) and the sentiment is from Pretty Perennials stamp set (ever popular with me, haha).   I turned to the Colour INKspiration Challenge crew to help me choose what colours to use for the various floral images from this stamp set. #CI96 It has been a while since I used the Split Card technique ( see the cards here in a totally different colour combination with another floral set ) so here it is again! Starting with a larger piece of paper (19.4cm x 14cm) stamp your images, building it from the middle. Then cut it down the middle and ta-da, you have the stamped pieces for the two cards (shown above).         I stamped another piece, changing the orientation of the large floral image.  After I split the card into two, I then decided ...
