This card is one for lovers of sparkles!
You know, I actually have a hard time cutting into glimmer paper - but I did it! It really is much better to cut it up and make cards that I can now send to brighten up someone else's day.
The colour strips are measured 3"x 2cm. I know it is weird giving measurements in a mix of imperial and metric, but we get both on the Stampin' Up!'s Paper Trimmer and I like whole numbers 😀 My brain finds it easier to remember whole numbers. So you get 14 strips from each 6"x6" sheet. With the five colours hence 5 sheets, you can make 14 cards. That's 14 people I can send some sparkles to instead of the papers just sitting in my stash for me alone to admire how lovely they are.
This is one of the cards those who attend my stamping session get to make in May. If you can't make it to a class, I have a solution for you: I can send you the $15 (plus postage) class kit (two projects) to be completed at your convenience.
In class, I pointed out to my attendees that the idea was they pick their favourite In Color to feature with the flowers stamped in Memento Black on their colour card stock. Here you can see I have picked Sweet Sorbet, and also added the coordinating twine, and then stamped the greeting in Sweet Sorbet too. I can't say categorically though that it is my favourite In Color - the truth is, I can't really pick a favourite!
The flowers are from Flowers of Friendship stamp which has a coordinating Flowers and Leaves punch.
