Dots and Spots Die in Daffodil Delight for Monochromatic Monday

Polka-dot-printed fashion is about as iconic as it comes, and it appears this timeless favourite is making a resurgence this coming summer! Oh well, I'll test it out on a card here first 😁

I love the Dots and Spots Die (#159164) for the fun and whimsy background it easily adds to any project. Try it in your favourite Stampin' Up! Colour (see below for all the colours available on my online shop).

Three small card making tips to add interest to your project when card making:

1) The Stitched Rectangle Dies (#151820) are what I call a very useful basic item to have. It isn't cheap but it is valuable - you will use it in plenty projects! Of course, you can just use a rectangle piece, but by using the dies, you have these detailed stitched marks that anyone would think you have the patience of a saint to make them by hand 😁.

2) You could stamp the floral image straight on the white rectangle piece, but by cutting it out and adhering on Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (#144108), you create depth and dimension on the card.

3) Add some flamboyance to your project by wrapping a decent width ribbon such as the White Frayed Ribbon (#158138)

Now this card design is easily replicable. You don't have to use the Flowers of Friendship (#155358) image and sentiment like I have, but if you like it, here's the link to easily add to your shopping cart.

Thanks for stopping by today -  I hope you feel inspired to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) in your favourite colour!
