3D Stars

These 3D stars are easy and fun to make and just add to the home Christmas decor. Here I have made them in 3 different sizes, using various Designer Series Paper (DSP). Would you believe it that all the 3 different sized stars can be made from one 12"x12" sheet of DSP? That makes for a very cost effective craft project! Can you spot the black and gold stars, made with one sheet from the Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper? This paper pack with 12 sheets is currently discounted to only $16.65 - an incredibly awesome deal! When Christmas is over, the stars made with this set of paper could be re-used for other occasions - birthday (especially a significant one, since the gold makes it so special), wedding, anniversary. Just email me if you want to place an order for it.

Below is a closer look at the biggest star made from 2 pieces of 6"x6" paper. This one was made with the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum, currently discounted to $14.10.

Here I have strung these stars to make a banner/ bunting. What else would you use these stars for?
Suggestions:
  1. Christmas tree ornaments
  2. As tags to add to your gift packaging
  3. Tie around the napkin to make for an extra special table setting

In my next post, I will show you what I used a small star (made from 2 pieces of 3"x3" paper) for :-)

Happy Stampin' !
