Baby Tees In Retro Fresh

I love the fun contemporary retro colour combination in the Retro Fresh Suite, so I decided to team that up with the Baby Tees Stampin' Wheel (#118621) to make this Baby card. This wheel is now in the Retiring List, so email me your order peppertime123@gmail.com (or purchase through my website). Retiring products can sell out very fast, so hopefully, you manage to nab a bargain or two before it's gone forever! I have a confession - I am not very good at using these wheels. It seems I can't wheel in straight lines. Thankfully, I found out quite early on how easy it is to convert it into a clear mount stamp by dismounting the rubber from the wheel and adhering it to the Clear-Mount Cling Foam (#124236). The other advantage is, I can actually cut this stamp up now to make 5 stamps of little baby tees. I used Blender Pens (#102845) to pick up the colours from the ink pad to colour the images in. (There is actually an easier way to get colours on these onesies, ...

Retiring List is Up

As we anticipate the new 2014-15 catalogue launching in July, it is time now to say goodbye to some current products which will be retiring at the end of June. So check out the lists to see if that stamp set which has been on your wish list is retiring. If it is, I hope you manage to get it because you just never know how quickly it may sell out now that it is retiring, especially since some are even discounted - up to 40%!!! These retiring products are while stocks last, so contact me soon to place an order. peppertime123@gmail.com Click here for the retiring stamps list Click here for the retiring accessories list I think I am most sad about Secret Garden retiring. Here is a bit of a blast from the past - the card that won me the title Queen of Clean at a Freshly Made Sketches challenge in June last year. Click here for the original blog post about it. So, be sure to check out the list to see what stamps and accessories are retiring, and get what's on your wish ...

Lots of Hexagons for the Soccer Fans In Your Life

I have five of those in my home - Soccer Fans that is. Well, six, actually, counting me except I am a sideline spectator, not an active participant like the others :-) This is a fairly simple card to make, and great to use up the Whisper White scraps that I have been unwilling to throw out. I used Black Card stock for my card base, and just glued on the hexagons I punched out using the Hexagon Punch (#130919). I realise I could do a better job of gluing those hexagons but it was late at night...I do admit I was tempted to re-do it to get it perfect, but I decided to leave it to show my friend Rach that I am not a perfectionist :-) The sentiment is from Just Sayin' (WM #133200, CM #133203) and cut out with the co-ordinating die from the Word Bubbles Framelits Dies (#132968). I love that Gumball Green colour, which reminds me I must stock up on that when the colour, along with the other 2012-2014 In Colours, retires at the end of June this year. This card has gone to it...

More Scalloped Tag Topper Punch Closure Card

I love love love this one that my downline Kathryn made last Friday at my Monthly Stamp Night. That Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight is a winning colour combo for me.

Scalloped Tag Topper Punch Closure Card

I am participating in another card swap over at Stamp Nation , so I thought the recent trend of the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch Closure Card would be ideal for this Fancy Fold card swap. But I changed my mind (hahaha, SN members, for a minute there did you think I was giving away the surprise?!). Instead, we made this at my May's Class last Friday evening. Gosh, can't believe a week has already flown by. I meant to put it up on here as soon as everyone had left, but obviously I got very side tracked. Fellow SU Demo over the ditch Tanya Bell shared an excellent tutorial on how to make this card. I wanted to show case the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (#132996) from our Occassions Mini Catalogue. This is a pad of 48 sheets (4 each of double sided 11.4x16.5cm) that are acid and lignin free.  If you have trouble cutting up your nice DSPs then you'll love these :-) This is available until 30 June 2014, for $14.50 NZD. The greeting and that cute little owl are f...

Feel Goods Triple Time Stampin

Here is the Fun, Cheery and Bright version of Triple Time Stamping. This was the set most of all the girls that come on Saturday chose to make. Have you ever noticed that the children just gravitate to the bright colours? :-) ps: here's a pic of the gift boxes...the one in the front was the inspiration for the other two hand crafted gift boxes.  Thanks for stopping by :-)

Blooming with Kindness En Francais

Mother's Day (which, in NZ, falls on the second Sunday in May) is the inspiration for the theme for my May Mum & Me craft session. However, I hesitated to advertise that "we are making Mother's Day cards" as I realise that Mother's Day could be tinged with sadness for some. I have long heard about the Triple Time Stamping technique, but never actually tried it out. When I saw Dawn Griffith's card online, I just wanted to replicate it, so I did and I thought it appropriate for all the wonderful Mothers out there. Yet, it is  easy enough to change the greeting - happy birthday perhaps? Oh, what about, "Congratulations"? Or simply, "Thank You"? Now Dawn used a stamp set which I do not own, so I substituted with En Francais (#112358) and Blooming with Kindness (WM #131961, CM #126422) and the sentiment is from the ever versatile and IMHO, must have greeting set, Teeny Tiny Sentiments (WM #130042, CM #120024). And what is a must have ...
